Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Manager Support & Facility Management Services (GILGIT BALTISTAN & CHITRAL) based at Regional Office, Gilgit  

Manager S&FMS will be responsible for overseeing all functions of the Support and Facility Management Department of GILGIT BALTISTAN & CHITRAL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervision of Regional S&FMS teams GILGIT BALTISTAN & CHITRAL. Direct and coordinate for day to day activities and support functions.
• Prepare plans and monitoring of Properties, Fixed Assets and Fleet.
• Overall supervision of Fleet Management System, direct and coordinate with team for effective utilization of vehicles and other resources.
• Support supervisor in preparation and utilization of annual budgets in respective region and generate reports.
• Logistic support for staff through leading admin teams.
• Overall supervision of local/Regional travel (vehicular only).
•  Overall supervision of department purchases, vendor payments, printings, and publishing across GILGIT BALTISTAN & CHITRAL.
• Liaison with security teams and service providers to ensure compliance.
• Supervision of Annual and Quarterly Fixed Assets Physical verification and Tagging exercise.
• Supervision of all transit and assets insurance. Prepare annual renewals and process premiums and claims.
• Ensure departmental policies & procedures compliance across GILGIT BALTISTAN & CHITRAL.
• Ensures timely and cost-effective quality maintenance programs; this includes repairs and maintenance of properties, furniture and fixtures, equipment and vehicles, electrical gadgets, generator etc.
• Ensures preparing and strictly maintaining preventive maintenance servicing schedules of air-conditioners, refrigerators, vehicles, and refilling of fire extinguishers etc.
• Ensures maintenance of property / rental agreements documents; this includes keeping proper records of utility bills, water and sewerage bills, society maintenance charges, tax records of the property etc.
• Preparation of BI Dashboard of the department and support supervisor in monitoring the KPI.
• As Manager S&FMS GILGIT BALTISTAN & CHITRAL, you will facilitate implementation of the climate actions budget in the identified area of energy efficiency, solar power, insulation, and fleet replacement, and help in the identification and planning for other areas.
• As Manager S&FMS GILGIT BALTISTAN & CHITRAL, you will be required to support the climate change team in the collection of data/reports from relevant focal persons.
• You will be expected to support the implementation of behavior change efforts by the HR, Communications, and Climate Change team for increasing awareness and understanding of cutting down carbon emissions.
• You will ensure that all high carbon and high-value items will be reviewed by the Country Lead-Environment & Climate before issuing a purchase order.
• You will be responsible for maintaining centralized equipment database in accordance with the format and requirements provided by the climate change team.

 Education, Experience & Competencies

• University degree in business administration, economics, social development, allied health sciences or other relevant discipline. Preferably MBA in Administration field
• 07-08 years of experience in relevant field from reputed organization & preferably having previous work experience in health-related projects and facility management.
• Having good interpersonal skills & knowledge of the local language would be an asset.
• Ability to lead, direct and manage a team. Demonstrated ability to act independently and exercise sound judgment. Capacity to research, plan and conduct operational activities with technical and political elements. Ability to represent the Country Office in dealing with government, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, tact, versatility and a high degree of discretion and integrity.
