 Job Description:

Enhanced National Youth Helpline Services:

  • Continued Operation of National Youth Helpline: Documentation demonstrating the sustained operation of the national youth helpline services.
  • University Engagement Plan & Implementation: A detailed plan for engaging with universities across the country to promote the helpline, including records of engagement activities (e.g., workshops, presentations, outreach materials).

National Youth Helpline Sustainability Planning:

  • Technical Support documentation for PC-I development: Reports outlining the technical support provided to the consultant for the development of the PC-I document for the NHHL sustainability, including meeting minutes, feedback provided, and draft PC-I versions.

Curriculum Validation and Approval:

  • Validated Curriculum Documents (KP & Punjab): Approved curriculum documents (one for KP and one for Punjab) with documented validation workshop reports, participant feedback, and approval records.

Life Skills Based Education (LSBE) Technical Expertise:

  • Technical Support Documentation for Project Team and Stakeholders: Reports detailing the technical support provided to the project team, relevant stakeholders, and UNFPA on the LSBE component, including expert consultations, advisory notes, and resource materials. Organize meetings of LSBE National task force members as well MoFE and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation throughout the project lifecycle. Represent the organization at the local and national levels and liaise with stakeholders to coordinate activities and ensure transparency and regularly engage with concerned authorities to provide updates on LSBE frameworks and policies.

LSBE Teacher Training Support:

  • Technical Support Documentation for Teacher Training (Refugee Settings): Reports documenting the technical support provided during teacher training on LSBE in refugee settings, including training session support, feedback provided, and resource materials.

LSBE Training Manual Development:

  • Developed Training Manual (with DEPD Consultation): A finalized training manual, developed in consultation with senior staff of DEPD and relevant experts, including meeting minutes, feedback integration, and draft versions.

LSBE Reading Material for Parents of PWDs:

  • Developed Parent Guide Book (LSBE for PWDs): A finalized reading material (Parent Guide Book) for parents of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) educating them on LSBE, including draft versions, feedback incorporation, and final publication.
  • Lead development and promotion of digital content, including animated videos for social media platforms.
  • Mobilize resources and partnerships with CSRs for the sustainability of LSBE.

    CORE COMPETENCIES:

    • Master’s Degree in social sciences, education, or a related field, with a preference for higher academic qualifications.
    • At least 7 years of proven experience in LSBE program implementation, curriculum development, and youth education initiatives.
    • Excellent skills in training facilitation, capacity development, and curriculum design.
    • Strong coordination abilities across technical areas, supporting multi-staff teams.
    • Effective communication in English and Urdu.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other essential tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in low-resource contexts.
    • Willingness to travel and work in remote or challenging environments.
