Position Objectives:
|
The Assistant Director will be based in Islamabad and will support the Deputy Director in the efficient and effective implementation of the Youth & Volunteer (Y&V) Program .The role focuses on youth mobilization, volunteer management, program planning, coordination, and reporting.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

1.

Support the mobilization, recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers and youth groups in alignment with the Youth & Volunteer Policy developed at the provincial level.
|
2.
|
Assist in annual planning and budgeting of Y&V activities at the national level.
|
3.
|
Prepare and submit timely financial and activity reports as per organizational requirements.
|
4.
|
Coordinate with provincial and district branches, educational institutions, health and education departments, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Y&V programs, including establishing Junior/Youth Clubs.
|
5.
|
Facilitate and conduct volunteer training in Disaster Management (DM), First Aid (FA), and emergency response, in collaboration with relevant departments.
|
6.
|
Develop and maintain youth engagement and development plans.
|
7.
|
Maintain regular coordination with national, provincial, and district branches, as well as schools and universities, to support youth initiatives.
|
8.
|
Manage and analyze a computerized volunteer database at the provincial level.
|
9.
|
Assist in drafting proposals, appeals, and project documents to support program initiatives.
|
10.
|
Collaborate with the Program Officer – Y&V on youth development initiatives to strengthen departmental functions.
|
11.
|
Maintain accurate records of volunteers and ensure their engagement in relevant activities and projects.
|
12.
|
Support the establishment of Y&V Task Forces and coordinate capacity-building programs for volunteers.
|
13.
|
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.
|
14.
|
Follow up with district branches to ensure timely execution of district and branch-level activities.
|
15.
|
Assist in organizing and celebrating special days and events related to youth and volunteering.
|
Qualification and Experience and Skill
|
|
|
Master’s degree in Social Sciences/ Management Sciences/ Development Studies/Project Management from HEC Recognized Institution.
|
|
|
5 Years relevant experience in a reputed organization
|
|
|
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing youth & volunteer programs, community development, or social work..
|

Skills & Competencies
|

|
Strong understanding of youth development practices, with the ability to engage, motivate, and retain volunteers from diverse background
|
|
|
Proven experience in organizing training, events, and community outreach activities with attention to detail and timelines.
|
|
|
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.
|
|
|
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple branches and departments.
|
|
|
Skilled in planning, budgeting, and preparing reports, proposals, and presentations.
|
|
|
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities, government bodies, and NGOs.
|
|
|
Proficient in maintaining and analyzing volunteer databases and using digital tools for program monitoring.
|

|
Awareness of social and cultural dynamics in youth and community work.
