Individuals based in Islamabad, who are willing to move to Karachi, may be provided relocation costs and regular travel opportunity to Islamabad.  

 

Skills Required:

  1. Excellent people interaction and communication skills.
  2. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to handle high level of responsibility. Good project management skills.
  3. At least working or conceptual knowledge of ERP projects and BPR. Experience in developing or deploying ERP projects will be preferred.
  4. Experience in managing teams of analysts and/or developers. Experience in multiple projects will be preferred.
  5. Knowledge of/experience if formal software development/implementation methodologies and standards.
  6. At least a Bachelors Degree. A degree in IT related disciplines and post graduate degrees will be preferred. PMP certification is desirable.

 Activities to be performed:

  1. Customer Relationship Management: Expectation Management of customers. Educating customers about their role in software development and about challenges and best practices in software development. Developing long term, sustained relationships with customers.
  2. Reporting: Regular reporting to firm management, and to customers. Regular status review meetings with team, customers and firm management. Ensure all stakeholders are well-informed. Deliver engaging, informed, well-organized presentations.
  3. Team Management: Managing a team of at least seven hardware and business process analysts. Hiring, assigning tasks, monitoring and rating performance, undertaking risk management, motivating team, nurturing team to meet professional development goals. Ensure team compliance with firm policies and procedures; approve team member’s time and expense reports in conscientious and timely manner.
  4. Team Delivery: The Project Manager will oversee delivery of the following by the team and will undertake tasks himself where appropriate or necessary:
    1. Vendor Selection: Preparing RFP for selection of ERP vendor, recommending selection, facilitating contract finalization
    2. Vendor Delivery Monitoring: Monitoring progress of ERP implementation, reviewing deliverables produced by vendor, resolving or escalating issues in timely fashion, undertaking risk management.
    3. Hardware and Network Analysis and Requirements Report.
    4. Business Process Models on “As-Is” and “To-Be” process models.
    5. Quantification of business benefit from ERP and ECM.
