JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent would be responsible to train youth in market oriented technical, entrepreneurial and managerial skills, confidence building and skills necessary to enhance their potentials and sustainable earning.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Deliver UNDP basic business entrepreneurship training package
  • Design, plan and upgrade entrepreneurship and enterprise development materials
  • Plan training activities, materials and tools
  • Conduct pre- and post-tests as required
  • Manage the implementation of entrepreneurship development components of the project
  • Identify gaps and lead the design and delivery of business development services for entrepreneurs
  • Support youth with business plans development during the training period
  • Identify micro-business opportunities in target area and provide beneficiaries with guidance on the choice of start-up businesses
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years field and technical experience with entrepreneurship training, business development (special focus on micro-businesses is an asset), youth development;
  • Experience of working with youth training and/or mentorship programs preferred.
  • Good understanding of business process and financial analysis skills
  • Excellent understanding of micro-business start-ups
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills a must
  • Proven ability to deliver micro entrepreneurship trainings
