The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an international organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to ensure respect for lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance. The ICRC also endeavors to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles. Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the Geneva Conventions and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
In Pakistan, the ICRC has been active since 1947. At present, it works in the field of physical rehabilitation of people with disabilities, health, forensics, promotion of humanitarian law and restoring family links. It also works closely with Pakistan Red Crescent in the fields of emergency response and community based risk education.

Purpose of the post:
HR Officer will be part of the HR team in Pakistan, responsible for staff administration and professional HR support in Peshawar. S/he will provide services in line with the ICRC Pakistan HR objectives, policies and the applicable laws and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, or equivalent - additional courses/certifications an asset.

2-5 years' of relevant experience in a similar role. Experience in talent acquisition an asset.

Very good command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Pashto an asset.

Excellent knowledge of computer/web based systems (MS Office, SAP, outlook or similar)
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for recruitments and successful onboarding of the newly hired colleagues.

Handling the entire EOBI file.
-
Contracts and letters preparation, briefings, probation confirmations & Electronic Cards preparation for staff
-
Personal files and Archives Management.
-
Management of HR space & Holidays.
-
Providing professional HR support and coaching to Managers and staff on various day to day HR issues.
