Specific Responsibilities: 

Coordination & Network in Quality & Accountability (Q&A) Promotion:

  • Network and coordinate with partners and other Q&A initiatives such as Sphere, CHS, MERS, INEE, and NGOs, INGOs, UN and Government officials, which include following;
  • Serve as the focal person for Q&A including Child Protection/Safeguarding in various Q&A related networks, such as Q&A Hub for ADRRN, Accountability & Learning Working Group and etc.
  • Assist in promoting Q&A at the sub-regional and regional level, including engaging with Q&A country focal points and ADRRN members.
  • Actively network/reach out in Pakistan and Afghanistan to other NGOs to support them to strengthen Q&A in their programs.
  • Coordinate with universities to run Q&A related courses.
  • Coordinate with other projects and departments within organization  for Q&A related activities; supervise staff in charge of Q&A on compliance and implementation as per their requirement to ensure Q&A is mainstreamed in organization in its policies, process and programs.

Quality & Accountability (Q&A) Management & Mainstreaming within Organization:

  • Assist Associate Regional Director and Deputy Regional Director in strategizing and panning out Q&A.
  • Take a lead and manage Q&A related projects and activities.
  • Explore and identify funding opportunities and develop proposals to raise funds for the sustainability of Q&A.
  • Ensure Q&A mechanisms e.g Complaints Response Mechanism are in place and well-functioning  within organization.
  • Work closely with Q&A consultants and provide support in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of Q&A related training programs and activities.
  • Support HR Department in policy development on accountability, safeguarding and child protection etc.
  • Manage the development of materials, translations and tools on Q&A.
  • Support HR Department in promoting an accountable culture in organization, including staff orientations & refreshers.
  • Serve as a Q&A facilitator as required.
  • Ensuring visibility of Q&A initiatives at sub-regional and regional level.
  • Q&A reporting and updates.
  • Promote the desired organizational culture within Q&A team.

Job Specifications:

Qualification/Experience:

  • For the position of Senior Trainer / Program Coordinator – SHA, a graduate/master degree from a recognized university and 5 year of experience is considered necessary.

Skill/Competencies:

  • Sound knowledge of Q&A initiatives, specifically CHS and Sphere.
  • Familiar with the use of Sphere and CHS, particularly in the field.
  • Training and facilitation skills in English and Urdu.
  • Be able to work independently, ability to take initiatives, decision making.
  • Ability to represent the organization at various levels in-country and at regional-international levels.
  • Committed and motivated to the promotion of Q&A using creative approaches, apart from training.
  • Ability to travel in-country, sub-region and the region as and when required.
  • Excellent command of English & Urdu – verbal and written.
  • Good IT Skills: Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and able to well present information.
