Qualification:

BE (Mechanical / Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering) from PEC Recognized Institution

Experience:

Minimum 08 years working experience in drilling operations
Candidate should have experience to manage and coordinate drilling and completion of oil and gas wells
Candidate should have good knowledge of drilling fluids

Skills:

Identify critical issues and introducing new concepts in drilling operations
Should demonstrate skills in the use of drilling and completion engineering techniques and practices of the field
Must have full knowledge of drilling and completion engineering theories and principles
An ideal candidate should also have high degree of initiative and independent judgment and strong oral and written communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish and manage the planning, engineering, procurement, logistic and execution phase of drilling and workover programs
Finalization of mud plan, casing design, cementing program
Preparation of prognosis and estimated drilling time break-up
Finalization of casing setting-depth selection, drill string design, rig sizing and selection, bit selection, final wellhead assembly
Preparation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE)
Preparation and Supervision of execution of cementing and casing/liner running jobs at the well site
Planning of materials for upcoming wells
