Position Objectives:
|
The Senior Medical Officer will take responsibility in supporting and supervising the PHC activities in the BHU cluster to ensure a good quality health service delivery.

|
Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of PRC.
|

|
Works in line with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Principles.

|
Adheres to the Security rules and procedures.

|
Respects and observes the Staff Rules & Regulations of PRC.
|

|
The employee may be asked to perform duties and tasks assigned by the management as well as to provide support to other departments if so required.

Identify the key functions or tasks that employee performs in the job with heading and details in bullets>

|
Ensure the delivery of full package of Primary Health Care service in BHU.
|

|
Maintain regular communication and reporting line with district authorities and programme management in PHQ/NHQ.
|

Establish and maintain regular communication with community (e.g. CBO).
|

|
Manage the BHU in all aspects (e.g. HR, HMIS, and Pharmacy etc.)
|

|
Ensure adherence to PHC standards as given by Department of Health to ensure good quality service.
|

|
Establish regular staff meeting and internal refresher training and document the process.
|

|
Provide supportive supervision to all staff in their daily activities
|
14
|
Ensure regular and timely order of drugs/medicines supplies.
|
15
|
Maintain and update displayed health promotion material.
|
Education
|
MBBS degree with PMDC registration and one year of house job
|
Experience
|
Minimum 02 years of working experience in hospital set up, with good clinical knowledge and skills.
|
Skills/Knowledge
|
- Fluency in spoken and written in Urdu & English. Pashto speaking will be preferred
- Certification in Project Management would be added value
- Excellent skills of imparting training courses for the staff and school communities
- Work towards the achievement of PRCS Vision and long-term objectives
- Flexibility to travel to conduct field visits for monitoring and coordination purposes
- Good command on Microsoft Office (word, excel & power point)
