Overview
DAI Pakistan is hiring a Driver for a project that works to build the capacity of local government members in Sindh by providing grants and undertaking programming. The Driver will provide support to the project team by transporting staff members within and /or outside the district.
Scope of Work
- Transport staff members on assigned routes in line with the safety and security trainings and protocols of the company.
- Follow the required and expected technical, cleanliness, safety and security protocols of the company and all concerned laws and traffic rules of Pakistan.
- Maintain vehicle logs including fuel and passenger records.
- Perform appropriate preventative maintenance and regular vehicle inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience providing transportation for international organizations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of security protocols preferred.
- Experience in Northern Sindh and ability to speak local languages will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of English language and speaking skills required.
