Relevant Experience:
At least Five years (5) of relevant experience in fundraising, preferably in regional. National or international setting
Proven track record of Fund raising and resources mobilization skills.
Experience and expertise in developing and maintaining good relationships with institutional donors or corporations
Job Description:
The consultant will be required to:
Familiarise him/herself with PPAF’s priority deliverables as set out in its Medium-Term Plan and annual work plans as well as core policy documents.
Work with PPAF to identify key funding gaps for existing and new priority areas and initiatives.
Based on discussions with internal and external key stakeholders and donors, identify potential funding sources. Attention will be given to public-private donors, bilateral donors, multilateral donors, international private sector organisations, and philanthropic organisations.
To identify/define potential funding scenarios from which the programme can be redirected.
Develop several fundraising proposals for stronger donor partnerships.
Deliverables
The consultant will be required to deliver the following:
Highlighting PPAF’s work in context to EHSAAS programme and Prime Minister Interest Free Loan (PMIFL) programme specifically for Balochistan region.
An inception report taking stock of current funding stream and funding outlook
A mapping of donor interests, priorities, funding windows and points to clear actions that should be taken to mobilize funds and develop/maintain relationships with these donors.
A comprehensive resources mobilization strategy that includes an overview of the situation, an analysis of past fundraising experience, explores future opportunities and strategies and outlines a time-bound action plan to systematically research and raise funds for PPAF Balochistan region.
An outline of a series of fundraising materials that need to be produced to secure funding/raise the profile PPAF Balochistan chapter.
An action plan that outlines clear timelines for the action proposed;
