Responsibilities

• Work closely with Program Manager to flesh out requirements and deliver them in an agile manner
• Provide expert level, hands on Java Enterprise and Web Technologies design and development across multiple systems.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
• Ensure that solutions are designed to meet the business and customer needs, matching expectations for quality and reliability.
• Work closely and collaboratively with multi-cultural and virtual teams, including software and solutions developers, GIS experts, data managers and domain experts.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Required Skills and Competencies 

• Demonstrable experience developing software micro-services paradigm.
• In-depth knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, Spring boot,  JSON and XML
• Hands on experience with Web services technologies (SOAP, WSDL, RESTful) and GraphQL
• Working knowledge of Active MQ, Rabbit MQ, Elastic Search
• Demonstrated expertise in database engines (MySQL, SQLServer, PostgreSQL).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Good working knowledge of Docker, Kubernates
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
