Job Description:


The incumbent would be responsible to plan and execute all activities related to Skills Development Program (SDP). He will develop and maintain data base of relevant projects and programs comes under the domain of SDP. His core responsibilities will be including program planning, budgeting, and implementation and reporting. He will also facilitate the selection and induction of trainers, facilitators and program staff to ensure the smooth functioning of program quality of training

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

The position holder will be mainly responsible of following tasks:

1. Will extend support and facilitation to Program Manager to achieve the set outcomes/deliverables.
2. Planning, implementing & monitoring of regular and donor funded interventions as per set norms & standards.
3. Manage and conduct training orientation sessions and develop its materials including training schedule and detailed implementation plan.
4. Keep and maintain the relevant records including attendance of trainees, trainers, visit reports, trainee’s documents, and stipend records, results of internal and external exams.
5. Complete the trainee’s record pertaining to their registration and certification with relevant certification agency/is.
6. Review, understand and ensure the proper implementation of the set policies, procedures, rules of business and standards for the smooth management of projects.
7. Conduct meeting with staff, develop action plans, manage follow ups and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders.
8. Develop weekly and monthly work plans along with break-up of course content as per approved training schedule/scheme.
9. Coordinate and manage parents/guardian, trainers and trainees day to day affairs at training centre, hostel and resolve them amicably.
10. Facilitate MEAL and Third Party Monitoring teams to ensuring the provision of relevant records
11. Ensure the timely compliance of observation and take remedial measures to improve the quality of services
12. Develop questionnaires/forms and format for regular data collection aimed at efficient monitoring and effective implementation of projects
13. Monitor and manage the staff training to produce desired results and make efforts to develop & retain a pool of professional trainers and staff.
14. Ensure the proper implementation of set policies, procedures and standards.
15. Develop and share success stories and case studies to enhance the visibility and projection of skills development activities in the region.
16. To work on continuous quality improvement and program strengthening
17. Assure timely reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual – both qualitative & quantitative and need based)
18. Report the untoward incidence to senior management for necessary action


Qualification Requirements:

Master’s in Mass com/ Social Science or related discipline from a recognized university

Professional Requirements:

1. At least 8 years of relevant experience
2. Experience of working with NGOs/Research Institutions in the related field
3. Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office) as well as knowledge of SPSS/MS Project, etc
4. Excellent report writing and presentation skills are a must
5. Result-oriented team player and leader
6. Strong verbal and written English communication skills required.
