MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quality Control Officer will be responsible for delivering technical inputs to ensure that the project maintains its quality standards under the defined criteria of content and training. The incumbent would also be responsible to ensure committed quality from induction level to product/service delivery. 
  • To ensure that the products of skills trainings meet certain thresholds of acceptability.
  • Assist QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT in quality control policies.
  • Plan, suggest & work to improve organization's efficiency and profitability by reducing waste.
  • To assist Project lead, Central Lead, and Quality Assurance Team in conducting feasibility assessments. The QA team member would assess the technical parameters in the feasibility study and provide feedback to the leads in narratives.
  • To generate a checklist mentioning each parameter and its mode of assurance. For this purpose, primarily, the incumbent could consult the curriculum development expert and the trainers for a consultative session before developing the checklist and its mode of assurance.
  • To facilitate assessment checklist; mentioning the minimum tools to be present in the facility mentioned in the donor guidelines.
  • Visit the training facilities and assess the standards independently with project team.
  • To ensure the uniformity of the pre-test/post-test across the regions. The results and its analysis would be shared accordingly.
  • Develop tools to monitor and evaluate technical aspects of skill development training activities in close consultation with M&E team.
  • To how much extent the standards being followed during the trainings
  • Technical aptitude building as a result of trainings among the trainees.
  • Assisting project coordinator in maintaining all the quality standards of trainings with coordination of Quality Assurance Department
  • Any other activity assigned by Project Lead or Central Lead

Required Qualification and Experience:

 

  • Master’s degree in related field from a recognized university.
  • 3-5-years relevant professional experience in NGOs or corporate sector
  • Ability to develop training materials in Word, PowerPoint, Articulate and computer-based training programming applications
  • Demonstrated understanding of training related activities
  • Special certifications or experience in adult learning preferred (i.e. Professional Training Development, Adult Learning).
  • Demonstrated technical writing ability.
