JOB PURPOSE:
The Communications Associate will work with program team to implement communications strategies translated in to clear deliverables under the supervision of communications manager. The positon holder will be responsible for creating quality publishing content including but not limited case studies, stories, reports, newsletters, press releases and articles. The positon holder will ensure that communication material produced is gender sensitive and child friendly.
QUALIFICATION
- 16 years of education (MS and/ or Bachelors Honors Degree) in Mass communication, media studies, journalism, English/ Urdu literature or related subject.
- Strong English and Urdu writing, editing and content development skills.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field/ area.

- Strong presentation skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
- IT skills: able to work on MS word, excel and power point
- Able to work with minimal supervision

- Ability to work in remote area and in field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that all communication protocols and standards are followed throughout the communication work (including guidelines, sign off etc.)
- Draft and revise reports and presentations.
- Draft articles, notices and web content.
- Represent company in print and electronic media.
- Facilitate media relations with mainstream print & electronic media journalists.
- Facilitate in implementation of communications campaigns, monitor public opinion, arrange events and smart handling of the ALIGHT and Education Department image and branding.
- Draft articles, press releases and produce quality content for Information Education and Communication (IEC) material.
- Facilitate video production, print & electronic media marketing, advertising and social media campaigns.
