Overview
The Human Resources Officer will provide administrative and technical support to the HR team in Islamabad, Karachi & Multan Offices. This position reports to the HR Manager in Islamabad.
Scope of Work
- Support the project’s human resources department in coordination with the HR manual.
- Maintain HR Filing system for all project offices, record keeping of all documents, both electronically on an online HRIMS and hard binders.
- Support in vetting process for potential employees.
- Support in recruitment process including, but not limited to, advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, EBD Verification, reference/background check, and issuing employment/consultant contracts to new appointees as well as recruitment of grants related staff.
- Recording the process of Candidate Selection, writing salary justification and liasion with HO on a regular basis regarding recruitment approvals, transfers, resignations, leave encashment, processing final payments etc.
- Coordination with HO for creation/deletion of Oracle IDs and Email IDs for project employees.
- Maintain leaves record for all staff both manually and on an internal HRIMS module.
- Time sheet processing and maintaining monthly consolidated HR Field data.
- Managing and tracking changes in Health, EOBI & life Insurance details of all staff.
- Maintaining trackers for employment, leaves, health claim reimbursement, performance management & attendance.
- Serve as a backstop in the absence of HR Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- University degree in relevant field. Masters degree preffered.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant experience working on USAID contract in a similar role highly preferred.
- Relevant experience of working on HR Information Management Systems/Modules.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
