Role Outline

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review, and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accurate inventory records by using manual or computerized systems.
  • Assist in development and implementation of efficient inventory management procedures.
  • To reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Report any stock issues to management and place product orders, as necessary.
  • Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable product.
  • Receive, store and issue goods/inventory to concerned teams.
  • Responsible for monitoring of distribution of stock to all concerned
  • Assist Procurement officer check supplies against invoice and purchase orders
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Review documentation and monitor asset codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
  • Tagging and bard coding of organizational assets to ensure real time inventory and maintain record.
  • Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports; review monthly reports with management
  • Any other task assigned by line Manager or Senior Management Team

Required Skill Set:

  • Adaptable, flexible, able to take initiative and prioritize among competing tasks.
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and on strict deadlines and in a multicultural setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer applications.
  • Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communications skills in English.
  • Adherence to organization’s values.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or another related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the relevant role, preferably in social development sector.
