HIRING OF MEDIA AGENCY FOR MASS MEDIA CAMPAIGN

Key Objective of Consultancy:

To undertake a mass media campaign for awareness regarding nutrition sensitive multisectoral COVID-19 prevention, protection and resilience messages and build discourse for nutrition and food security as a fundamental constitutional right in Pakistan from November to December 2020.

Scope of Consultancy:

In consultation with SUNCSA Secretariat; Nutrition International, the agency will be responsible for the following scope of work:

  • End-to-end production and airing of 4 Radio programs & 1 TV talk shows on different Nutrition topics (in Urdu), which includes, but may not be restricted to:
    1. all logistical arrangements for the radio programs and TV talk shows
    2. scripting
    3. inviting guests
    4. recording of the program
    5. coordination with the radio/ TV channel for studio availability
    6. coordinating and arranging call-ins to increase community engagement (Radio Programs)
    7. Airing of radio programs from Radio Pakistan and FM Channels
    8. Telecasting of TV Talk show
  • Scripting, Production of the approved 10 radio messages in Urdu, Punjabi, Pashto, Saraiki, Sindhi, & Balochi
  • Airing of the approved radio messages for 3 Months (in Urdu, Punjabi, Pashto, Saraiki, Sindhi, & Balochi) from Radio Pakistan and FM stations across the country
  • All messages and technical content will be reviewed by Nutrition International (SUNCSA Secretariat)
  • Publishing of 4 articles (2 English, 2 Urdu) in leading national newspapers, on nutrition related issues, as decided in consultation with SUNCSA secretariat

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Proven experience of production of Radio programs/Cable TV, particularly on health & nutrition issues
  • Prior experience of working with a development organization would be desirable
  • Proven experience and good understanding of traditional and new media approaches
  • Proven ability of producing print BCI content particularly on health and nutrition issues
  • Registered as per national laws
  • Having valid National Tax Number
