Job Description:
The candidate should possess adequate experience in preventive health. He/she will be responsible for the following duties:(this is indicative list and not exhaustive)
- Liaising with all concerned agencies and projects in developing health/ hygiene and medical assistance activities for the project.
- Implementation and monitoring health deliverable in collaboration with the projects field staff.
- Working with the consultant/staff in home production of dry and liquid soaps and hand sanitizers and other training events.
- Provide support to STTA trainer in designing subject specific trainings
- Supervise curative consultations provided either through existing facilities which received substantial support through the project or through parallel, self-standing emergency facilities.
- Oversee psychological and/or psychiatric consultations provided by a skilled provider/STTA Trainer
- Supervise medical assistance critical care units supported through the provision of medical equipment (including ventilators,PPE, Testing kits and BiPAP breathing machines etc)
- Oversee /carry out tele-medecining activity of project
- Support isolation center set up and maintenance in the 3 health centers including Repair and maintenance
- Organising and conducting workshop on healthcare for the field staff and community representatives.
- Assisting stakeholders and target in creating awareness, orientation and primary healthcare at grass-root and organisation level
- Overseeing organising and assessing community training programmes, follow-ups and field days at the project areas.
- Liaising with the Provincial, District health and sister health and projects.
- Writing assignment-related manuals and assist in donor reporting .
- Maintaining close contact with all project staff, particularly the gender specialist.
- Performing any other related duties assigned by the Project Manager and the SMT.
