About the Project:

Pakistan Agricultural Technology Transfer Activity (PATTA) is a 4-year, USAID-funded project that will bring to scale private sector solutions to improve agricultural productivity in Pakistan. PATTA is partnering with agricultural technology companies to commercialize products and services with the potential to increase the productivity and competitiveness of smallholder farmers while mobilizing private sector investment in agricultural technology. PATTA partnerships will provide smallholder farmers with broader access to affordable technologies to increase productivity and incomes, build resilience to climate change, and reduce postharvest losses.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The specific responsibilities of the Executive Administrative Assistant will include, but will not be limited to, the following:  

  • Provide support to the COP in all administrative matters;
  • Ensure assignment deadlines are met and keep records of important documents and files;
  • Manage/coordinate information flow between COP and project staff in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Manage the calendar and meeting schedules of the COP;
  • Prepare meeting agendas, organize meetings and take minutes during meetings
  • Assist the COP with coordinating project staff contributions to weekly, monthly and quarterly reports;
  • Assist the COP with data collection and review/copyediting/formatting of reports and written deliverables;
  • Liaise with other staff members on program deliverables;
  • Organize and maintain the COP’s office filing system;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the COP.

Deliverables:

  • Monthly reports to COP of assigned tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Pakistani national;
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Work experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant position.
  • Experience with USAID-funded projects preferred;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Fluency in English and strong English editing skills (i.e. grammar, copy editing, formatting, etc.);
  • Strong computer skills, namely proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Demonstrated strong coordination and communication skills;
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
