Major Responsibilities:

  • Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of the organization.
  • Register and enroll Children for child friendly spaces at TDPS Camp.
  • Identification of potential beneficiaries for psychosocial support activities in Child friendly spaces at Baka Khel Camp.
  • Development and implementation of Monthly Work Plan.
  • Ensure and record attendance in the CFS.
  • Ensure Children are not exposed to any form of Harm or stress during the activities.
  • Establish peer to peer children groups.
  • Support and assist Psychosocial Officers in conducting the activities.
  • Support and assist Hygiene Promoters in conducting the activities.
  • To engage and facilitate children in creative learning and plays (Creative, Imaginative, Manipulative, Physical, etc.).
  • Identify drop out school/Madrassa students and refer to psychosocial support officer for Re-admission in School/Madrassa.
  • To arrange vocational training basic learning including embroidery, stitching, tailoring, knitting, mazri work etc.
  • To assist Camp outdoor playing clubs in various sports activities including football, cricket, basketball etc.
  • To maintain child learning and playing items in safe custody.
  • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Psychosocial Officer, Hygiene Promoters, doctors, and other staff to devise and implement appropriate activities in CFS.
  • Demonstrate respectable behavior with the community, staff and others.
  • Offer services to all age, gender, religion groups of people.
  • Compile and ensure timely submission of daily/monthly reports and records.
  • May require to perform other related duties assigned by supervisor as per organization set standards.

Job Requirements: 

a)      Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Preferred, Psychology/Social Work/Anthropology)

b)     Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field, preferably in Child Friendly Spaces 

c)      Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: 

  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Must have knowledge of Computer operation and use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

d)     Language Skills: 

  • Urdu, Pashto and English

e)      Age:

  • Maximum age limit 40 Years
