# RFA/04/23 Strengthening
Fruit Plant Nurseries Enterprises in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Newly Merged Districts

The USAID’s funded Economic Recovery and Development Activity (USAID-ERDA) is a five-year activity implemented by Associates in Development (AiD) Pvt Ltd. The USAID-ERDA aims to increase economic opportunities by strengthening and modernizing the agriculture sector and promoting micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Newly Merged Districts (NMDs).

USAID-ERDA under its agriculture component plans to strengthen existing fruit plants nurseries of districts Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Dir, Orakzai, South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Malakand, D I Khan and Kurram. USAID-ERDA will procure planting materials, tools and material for lath house/green house and will supply/install directly to selected grantees site.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Existing commercial fruit plant nursery in the USAID-ERDA’s proposed districts.
• Should have continuous source of irrigation water and easy access for transportation of material, and proximity to market.
• The nursery site should be feasible and have additional land available for lath/ greenhouse establishment and new planting materials.
• Willing to initiate and proceed with the nursery registration process with FSC&RD.
• Willing to participate in training, provide data and share information with USAID-ERDA, as and when needed.
• Willing to allow activities like field days, demonstration etc. on his/her facility.

TYPE OF SUPPORT

• In-kind Grant Support of up-to PKR 2,100,000 per nursery.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Complete grant application form.
• Copies of valid CNIC
• Any proof of existing fruit plants nursery
• Any other information / document related to nursery business only.
