A donor funded project is seeking a Social Media and Campaign Officer. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team and help us connect with our audience in meaningful ways.

What You will Do:

As our Social Media and Campaign Officer, you will be the voice of our organization online. You will create engaging content, run existing campaigns, and help us grow across various social media platforms. Here’s a closer look at what you will be responsible for:

  1. Crafting Our Social Media Strategy:
  • Assist in developing a social media plan that aligns with our goals and resonates with our audience.
  • Identify who our target audiences are and tailor content to engage them effectively.

        2. Creating Awesome Content:

  • Write and design eye catching posts for our social media channels, including text, images, and videos.
  • Schedule and publish content to keep our feeds fresh and engaging.

        3. Running Campaigns:

  • Plan and launch social media campaigns to promote our events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure our messaging is consistent and impactful.

       4. Analyzing Performance:

  • Assist in monitoring how our social media content is performing and analyze to see what works best.
  • Highlight our reach and engagement and helping us improve our strategies.

       5. Engaging with Our Community:

  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquires from our followers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Build relationships with our audience and influencers.

       6. Staying Ahead of Trends:

  • Keep an eye on the latest social media trends and best practices.
  • Bring fresh ideas for content and campaigns that will resonate with our audience.

        7. Working Together:

  • Assist and collaborate the team to ensure our messaging is cohesive across all platforms.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and promotional content.

Qualification:

  • Master’s/Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of minimum experience.
  • Experience in social media management and campaign execution
  • Understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
