 Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall management and implementation of project activities within the district.
  • Ensure coordination with district administration and provincial manager to ensure project alignment with district priorities and overall program objectives.
  • Organize and facilitate monthly review meetings of healthcare providers to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular district review meetings with supervisors to assess performance, address issues, and provide guidance.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for visiting and supervising healthcare providers in the district.
  • Ensure timely reporting of all project activities as per given guidelines, including submission of monthly reports and other required documentation.
  • Monitor and track project progress against key performance indicators.
  • Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during project implementation.
  • Provide regular updates to the district administration and provincial manager on project progress and achievements.
  • Represent the project at district-level meetings and forums.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including district officials, healthcare providers, and community leaders.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree, social sciences, management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience working health related projects/program.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in project management and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of district-level health systems and programs.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

 

Additional Skills (Desirable):

  • Experience in conducting trainings and workshops.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

Reporting to: Project Manager

Supervise:  District Support Officer, cluster supervisors

Travel: Frequent travel within the district may be required.
